Koko’s is a chic – but relaxed tropical poolside bar and kitchen at Peppers Beach Club in Port Douglas. Celebrating local and seasonal produce, our all day snacking menu gives familiar favourites a bright twist with flavours and spices from our neighbouring Southeast Asian countries.

Can I give 6 stars for service? The Chef, Matt, cooked us the 5 course tasting menu and adapted it to fit my mother’s allergies. It was very kind of him to do this, and the effort was really appreciated. The servers were perfectly attentive, and the atmosphere was chic and relaxed.

Food is nice but service could be significantly improved. We were seated at our booked time but waited over an hour for our entrees & mains- even watched other patrons who had arrived after our arrival time, receive their food before us. Probably wouldn’t revisit due to prices & lack of service experience, although food is nice.

We stayed at Peppers for a pleasurable week in July. Breakfasts were well done with fresh, warm croissants been a particular highlight, but also the Coconut yoghurt bowl with fresh fruit. A couple of fruit juices and machine coffee and tea are available or you can pay a few dollars for a “proper” coffee.

Koko is a gem hidden in the Peppers Resort at Port Douglas. Monday evening set menu is highly recommend. The food is fresh and the staff attentive. Perfect.

Went for a birthday lunch and waited 45 for food which although tasted fine were the smallest portions I have ever seen in a restaurant and prices were high..$42 for 5 scallops which was touted as a LARGE share plate was quite frankly..”taking the mickey”.

We came for locals night on Monday night for their Balinese style feast. The service was a little disappointing but the food was pretty good. The pool lights up a deep blue at night which makes the night a little special. Make sure you make a booking as it isn’t that large
