A warm and friendly cafe nestled in the busy main street of Hahndorf. It is small inside but there is some seating outside. The coffee is great and the food is freshly cooked and delicious. I feel as if I am in a chalet somewhere else rather than Hahndorf. It can be found between the fire station and Terry White Chemist. If you like warm and cosy on a cold day this is the place especially in the Adelaide Hills at the moment.

It was a cold and windy afternoon, the place has a nice and warm feeling inside. Very friendly staff at the counter. Kids meals are the best we’ve seen so far, with very reasonable price. My boy also wanted iced chocolate from the menu, the staff immediately offered to do in kid’s size. Food was tasty and freshly made. Definitely recommend it!

Great ambience, music was subtle and jazzy, comfortable seating with a rustic feel. Order at the counter, friendly service and efficient. We had the scones and they were light and fluffy, followed by spiced pear meusli and mushrooms burschetta. Delicious. Muesli could have been layered to make it easier to eat. All in all highly recommended.

Food was ok. For a 30 dollar big breaky it wasn’t a qty expected and coffee was ok. Service was average as they missed what was our correct order. Poached instead of fried was served. No effort to ask if it needed rectified.

This place is a MUST!!! Best meal out I have had in ages. We had the lamb and feta burger and the Thai chicken sandwich… DELICIOUS! Followed by a scrumptious bread and butter pudding with coconut and caramel sauce. Yum!
