Amazing atmosphere, really well styled. Great service. Very tasty food. You can see it’s a well managed operation and the huge platters going past to fellow diners created a lot of theatre. Would love to give a five but if you list lamb shanks (plural) on the menu and deliver just one skinny shank you invite critic. Might have pasted as a summer dish but not a winter one in the hills. Disappointing. Very tasty however left an Italian restaurant wanting more. Pasta dishes looked more filling.

High quality, tasty dishes of generous proportions. Entrees: the scallops with prosciutto and cale was delightful with its crunch and saltiness, while the roast potatoes were cooked just right. Mains: the crab linguine and rissotto were cooked perfectly too. Front of house were attentative, courteous and quite knowledgeable of the menu.

This place is exceptional. My husband and I stumbled upon this by accident and wow, we were blown away. Incredible service, warm staff, delicious food, great wine recommendations (love that it’s very supportive of the local wine industry). My family had a lovely lunch here Sunday. Wonderful atmosphere with a slight scent of wood fire and cured meats, staff were friendly and so polite, food was delicious (the pork belly was fork tender). We tried the burrata fresca with some schiacciata on a recommendation from one of the waiters and it was very nice. It was all done at a leisurely pace so definitely not the place to go if you’re in a hurry. But if you want somewhere to really enjoy your food and soak in the atmosphere, it really is fantastic
