Sneaked out one night with wise woman (my wife) to have dinner at this alley way eatery. In the day time is functions as an udon place, but at night it becomes Jigoro – that’s what wise woman told me so I’m just repeating like a parrot. Service was great and the place filled up as the night went on. We ordered a selection of interesting dishes including squid guts and wasabi octopus. Most were tasting sizes, but there are more substantial dishes to order as well. We wanted to taste as many dishes as possible so we ordered those to share. Drinks were ok and by the end of the meal we were quite full! A great reflection of the traditional Japanese dining bar in Perth! Recommended!

A great place for hang out. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The way they served a glass of sake is quite traditional — with a wooden container. I like the combination of wasabi and squid – this is always my favourite, cold tofu was nice, fried chicken wings were tasty, sashimi was average and not much choices. But I didn’t like the fried noodle as it was too oily and salty. Overall experience was good!

Quick and yummy food at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend their yellowtail sashimi, and flaked salmon with ikura caviar chazuke Also the “Chef’s Choice 4 kinds” are only $17 (best value for money)

This is one of the most unique place to eat and drink in Perth. It’s not fancy food, but what they serve taste homely and comforting. Most of the food served here you wouldn’t find anywhere else in Perth. Eating and drinking here transport you to an Izakaya in Japan. I just wish they bring more grilled food on sticks option, that would perfect the experience. But otherwise it’s an amazing place, reasonably priced, great service, lovely food. I only took some photos from the night, but highly recommend their Hamburg steak. And I also love the Chicken and Vegetable dish. Oishii!

Bustling place to eat during a night out at the city or just having a catch up with friends. You definitely want to come here to have drinks and then have smaller meals. Their portion is on the smaller side but thats the whole point. This place is Himufiya at day serving Udon dishes. So don’t go there during the day looking for this place. Only open at night.
