Had lunch here with collegues. The fake cherry blossom tree actually works for them. I wouldn’t say that it is authentic Japanese either but they do have good food. First time for me to see yakisoba wrapped in egg omelette, so I will say this is fusion which my collegue ordered. I was able to taste it and my preference of yakisoba is a bit more intense than what they served. My other colleague ordered beef curry which was surprisingly big portion and yes it taste like Japanese curry. Finally I ordered mixed mushrooms on top of rice (vegetarian) which was really delightful. This came with miso soup and salad.

After a massive wonder around the city we came upon Nippon We were seated in a fabulous booth and had one of the most delicious dinner! Everything came out at a great pace as it was ready and was all fabulous. The kids were in awe of the watermelon sodas Service was spectacular and friendly and the space is beautiful. Nippon really aims to please. We chose a night when the kitchen was a chef down. Pauses between courses were an excellent chance to talk, as you might in formal Japanese culture.
