It was ok once I get my head around the fact that it’s not Vietnamese aside from its name. The massaman curry was good one time but a bit bland the next. The choochee fish was nice and the fried chicken and sizzling prawns were delicious.

Don’t be fooled by the name, you will find no Pho or many Vietnamese dishes whatsoever. They do have a range of other Southeast Asian dishes, mostly a re-combination of the same ingredients, definitely not very authentic For example, our Tom Kha was almost indistinguishable from the Tom Yum – which are very different when authentically prepared; likewise the caramelized pork was almost identical to the Mongolian lamb dish, save the meat used. Positive points: large and delicious pieces of Lamb were used, there were free shrimp crackers at the start, portions we’re relatively large.

The food and service was nice. However, we were overcharged on the bill against the stated prices on her menu. The lady at the restaurant confessed over charging and gave the excuse that her rent has gone up and hence overcharged. Please ask for the Bill and do not trust their verbal billing. We felt cheated..,
