I recently had dinner at Jackie’s on Vincent, the food and service are okay. Surprised to see no soup on the menu despite a thai restaurant. However, the staff is generous enough to offer soup which is not on the menu. I started with the hot and sour chicken soup, which was decent. The soup was thick and flavorful but not great. And the vegetable shitake fried dumplings are deep fried and oily. Didn’t leave a great taste in my mouth.

We dined on a Tuesday evening which is probably one of their slowest nights, however, what an honor it was to dine here. The food was 5-star quality, we couldn’t fault it and the serving sizes were large. Service was lovely and genuine and one of the nicest cuisines we have had in Daylesford. This is a MUST DO!

We had lunch for 7 and everybody loved their meals. The zucchini & chestnut felafels were superb as was the guilt free fried rice. There were plenty of options for our coeliac vegetarian diner. The service was excellent. The servings were a good size and reasonably priced.

Jackie’s serves up a tasty fusion of Asian cuisine and western pub food. There is a simplified take away menu on offer but the dine in experience is a bit more sophisticated. The atmosphere inside is warm and inviting but there is also shaded seating on the sidewalk which is perfect for lunch on a sunny day.

Nice dishes – three of us had the crispy pork belly and really liked it. Goat curry had good compliments too. Good pana cotta.

I recently ordered takeout from Jackie’s On Vincent, expecting a delightful experience with Asian cuisine. However, my experience left me feeling unsatisfied and disappointed. The dishes I ordered, which included sweet and sour pork, special fried rice, and crispy chicken with lemon sauce, did not live up to my expectations of authentic Asian flavors.
