Love this place. Food is good, and service is fast. On the negatives…train is rarely full which they kind of need to get on top of. Sometimes kitchen supplies and cleaning stuff is out and taking up seats…it kills the vibe. I’ve walked past a few times and seen staff counting money etc in plain view of the public…not a good idea. I mean it doesn’t make me want to stop visiting just word of mouth around town is that it does see them lose business. Also…staff need to smile! Those things would make this place great, but it’s still good food.

Very bad experience, I have ordered my meal without onion for allergy reasons , got it with onion ( waiter forgot to mention that info), when I requested it to be changed , the chef decided to move all vegetables and sent me the same plate back , and because it was the same plate , I could still find onion pieces in it, so I had to request it to be changed again and finally got the same plate cold with no vegetables, very bad taste that I could not eat and left .

staff often intentionally miscalculate, if you don’t pay attention to the bill, you will surely lose money unjustly, I got it twice and she had to return it, very disappointing.

I always get my sushi from here. They’re a little expensive, but really, really tasty. The best thing about this sushi bar is that they have a HUGE variety of different sushis to try. Personally I’m a huge lover of tuna sushi, which I’m happy they make. Good tasting sushi for sure.

Very expensive at $44 for eight sushi rolls and they didn’t taste fresh very disappointing my partner and I love sushi but was a horrible experience, got home only to see that they didn’t put soy sauce with the sushi as well

This place has surprisingly great sushi! We were passing through Gympie and this was the only eatery open in Gympie Central. We weren’t expecting much but decided to take a chance on this place and are seriously glad we did! The sushi was super fresh and delicious and well worth stopping for. The mayo left a little to be desired, and obviously not as much variety as what we’re used to, but otherwise I’m impressed. Give it a go next time you’re there!

Quite expensive, although it is Gympie so the cost in a “smaller” market can be higher. The sushi was nice, my only real issues were the amount of flies hanging around the dining area and the touch screen “IPads” provided for ordering were extremely dirty. Nice enough, but would probably stop elsewhere for lunch if I’m ever driving through Gympie again.
