Our aim at Hybla Tavern is to use our own Melt Beef and Hawthornden Lamb along with other quality produce, to provide a high standard of food and beverage to Middleton Beach. Interesting and well executed dishes are complemented by a beverage list showcasing wines from the South West region of WA as well as beers, ciders and spirits. Our liquor license allows beverages to be enjoyed without purchasing a meal.

Had a lovely meal here, great atmosphere, and fantastic customer service. Had the jalopeno poppers for starters. They had a nice spicy kick to them and fantastic flavour. Then, he had the tasting platter for mains, which was delicious. The only thing I could critique was the lamb korma as meat was a little dry and was lacking flavour. Overall, it was very good, and I will definitely be back to try some other dishes.

Went to this place on a whim seeking cocktails and stumbled upon a real good thing! Food was great, cocktails delicious and the service was out of this world! Shout out to MJ and most notably Kevin – it was a treat to be in your restaurant on our holiday!! Would most definately recommend.

Went here for a Taste Great Southern degustation dinner Friday before last. The marron with celeriac puree and truffle oil was the standout dish and a macaroon with truffle oil was a delicious and interesting savoury/sweet addition to the menu. Most of the ther dishes were quite good to okay, though the steak was cold and the very odd cheese platter wasn’t very nice especially the blue cheese (and that coming from a blue cheese lover). As it was a long two tables in a narrow room it was very noisy and you had to shout to be heard. The wines hosted by Gallafrey were quite good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our break in Albany, and the visit to Hybla Tavern did not disappoint us. Kevin was amazing and quick to allocate us a table at the time we required. He was so polite and friendly, and his colleagues behind the bar were much the same. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Location was nice and handy to our accommodation, which was the Big 4 situated on the Middleton Foreshore.

No healthy alternative to burger and chips. The Melaleuka Farm Wagyu Cheeseburger had gristle and bits of bone and overall was tasteless. Can’t comment on service as table ordering didn’t work as my phone didn’t have internet contact so we ordered and paid at the bar. Convenient location and nice atmosphere.
