Busy modern cafe, although I managed to get a table pretty quickly for a Saturday morning. Their mocha is good, so was the wagyu beef burger, chips pretty nice too. Overall happy with everything, although it felt noisy and a bit cramped, you feel like people next to your table can hear everything you talk about. Menu is pretty good too I think in term of variety.

Me and my family had a wonderful breakfast at this coffee shop this morning! The egg benedict with pulled ground beef was absolutely delicious and the coffee and hot chocolate were the perfect complement. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, which made for a great start to my day. Highly recommend stopping by for a tasty meal and great service!

OMG get in my belly! If you’ve read any of the glowing reviews of H&C, this one is going to be no different. Nestled in Melbourne’s far North East in Lilydale, if there was ever a cafe to make the trek to, it’s this one.

This is a gem hidden in Lilydale. It was well worth the short wait out the front while a table was cleared. Every aspect of this venue was a step above, the service, the drinks and the food. Two of our party had scrambled eggs, and they were an amazingly silky, but firm consistency instead of the sloppy and granular fare normally encountered. The brioche bread used for the Chilli Scramble was a perfect combination. The baked beans and hash browns are very obviously made in house and much more delicious for this fact. The apple pie French toast was as delicious as it was unique, everything was matched perfectly. Even the drinks had unique little twists on the ordinary to make them a standout. If you are in the area, you must make it a priority to enjoy a breakfast here. Better still it is worth travelling to visit.

Lovely place, however I didn’t quite like my meal, the chicken was too salty and a salad half cold. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming. Prices are a bit expensive for the area tho. Overall, I think it is a good place to check out, seems like they have their regulars there. Might try my chance w another dish next time ☺️

This is such a big space and the cafe has so My much potential, however the food is very over priced and the food is way too big of a portion you waste so much food! Our meats where over cooked, eg bacon and chorizo, the halloumi was chewy which was such a shame!

Staff really need education around “low gluten” food options. My low gluten burger which had a gluten free bun, was served with onion rings on it, which were not gluten free. I picked off the onion rings and ate the rest of the burger, which unfortunately, has been enough to cause a flare up. My burger was also served with beer battered fries, which are not gluten free. Low gluten does not mean serving food that still contains gluten, rather, it means food that is gluten free that is prepared in an environment where other foods containing gluten are prepared, which may result in cross contamination. The staff were bubbly and lovely, and I don’t wish to talk smack about the cafe, but I’m currently dealing with a coeliac flare up after dining in today 🙁
