This was absolutely the worst Asian food I’ve ever eaten, I’m so incredibly disappointed. Every dish that we ordered was revolting, apart from spring rolls. The honey chicken wasn’t traditional honey chicken, it was soggy and drowning in honey, it was actually inedible. I don’t like doing a bad review but I was honestly so angry at wasting food and money.

Great Value for money in this economy. Two person operation with the wife and husband duo. Cash only and please be patient with service as English isnt the best. Crispy combination noodles is my go to here and my venue of choice in springvale.

Fantastic food… real quality fresh food at an affordable price. The charcoal flavours in the chicken lemongrass rice paper rolls was delicious, Salt pepper Tofu was one of the best we have ever had nice soft, but crispy and the omelette melted in your mouth. When we arrived the place was empty and I was abit skeptical but soon as the clock turned 12pm the place started filling up real quick.

This restaurant has very unethical pricing practices. We entered the restaurant and was provided with 2 menus. We ordered a Pho and Fried rice which was stated to be A$10 each, however at the cashier, they informed us that it was $24 in total, $12 each. I asked the cashier why was the price higher and he took out a menu with revised pricing from the menu we received. I wish I had taken a photo of the menu, but it was too late.

I’m not coming back here and ever again the food unwell presented if every look in not gonna eat it and I was crispy noodle combination stir fried but they gave me soft one and they say “is sold out don’t have time to fried it” not even informed to me once’s than they just do and bring out. Hope I’m not get food poisoning after this[^_^]

Amazing! Been going here for 15yrs. Best Viet food in Melbourne. The family run business are so accommodating. Fried rice, rice paper rolls and pork spare ribs are a favourite for sure.

Truly a hidden gem in Springvale. I’m a local and have tried pretty much every restaurant in Springy. The range of food, the prices (particularly great) and the friendly staff are the reason I chose this place over all others. The good thing is that most lunchtimes it’s pretty quiet, so you get served very quickly. The portions and ‘extras’ are something the others don’t even offer. Trust me – you’ll love Hue Hue!
