We ordered the Lamb Shoulder as an extra and as a main dish. We really loved it. It was very filling and super delicious. I totally recommend and can’t wait to go back to try more things on menu.

The food was AMAZING. I couldn’t fault it at all, very thoughtfully created menu with an option for everyone. I had the 14 hour lamb shoulder with added pickles + ferments which was to die for. Great portion size and beautifully plated.

Went for breakfast thus morning..was a little disappointed with the food..just seems like breakfast was rushed. Other then that the Coffees and chais are to die for. Also recommended then pear Danish.

Great coffee every time! And their menu is awesome, the falafel plate is oh my God out of this world, and the egg and bacon with chilli oil is a regular for me, so good! I think it’s worth asking for crispy bacon. We share it, but if you’re hungry a full one, I’d easily finish it cos it tastes so good.

I love coming here, the food is so beautiful and the staff are always wonderful. Even in busy times (which is often) they make you feel seen and heard, anytime I’m in croydon I come here and always enjoy whatever I order.

Enjoy sitting out the front here, staff know what I order and usually bring it to me before I have to ask, which makes me feel special. Friendly attentive staff, nice atmosphere and good service. Usually have the plate of dips and pita bread, coffee and sometimes banana bread. Never rush us to leave..

Booked a specific table for 10 to 12 ‘session’. Arrived on-time and the table was occupied by other patrons being mid meal. Was rudely told by some self important clown I can’t have that table, ‘sit over there or out back if you want a quiet spot’. Ok, went out back to be totally forgotten about. I saw in other reviews that that is the fate of people sitting out back. I was already miffed about not getting the table I booked , so we left. Told that rude clown on way out that that is not good enough and also mentioned to some poor waitress that it was not nice not to be served out back. Clown came after us and again rudly and angry told us to ‘just go’. No worries, we were already on our way out to never return. While the food is nice, depending on the day, I don’t appreciate being spoken to in such manner, especially when a booking has been made. We ended up at a nicer cafe up the road, were we were welcomed with a smile, been given a nice table by naturally friendly people and not a self important, angry little pompous clown.

We dined in for breakfast today. The meals and coffee were as usual delicious. I did order the lamb shoulder with smoked yoghurt. Unfortunately NO Smoked Yoghurt. . the lamb lacked taste without the Yoghurt. I called them and just got the apologies. No offer to come back and pick up the yoghurt.
