We are a family Seafood businesss in Mooloolaba specialising in Fresh local seafood and wild caught fish. Other foods include made in house Calamari, Potato Scallops, Prawn Cutlets and Sea Scallops. Other favourites: Gourmet burgers, hotdogs, Icey cold Milkshakes and much more. Recently refurbished, we offer some dine in seating with plenty of parking at front and rear. I’m a bit surprised by all of the great reviews. All I can say is everything else must be good. We only bought a large chips and my husband’s comment is that these must be the worst chips he’s ever eaten. Sadly I must agree. My husband wondered if they were even potato. They taste that bad. As I eat them now they are dry and tasteless. Even with all of the great reviews I wouldn’t choose to go back again.

Well, tonight we visited this place and make some noise. Grabbed some chips, fish, calamari, prawns etc but we added rice on top + spicy sauce as usual cus we r indonesians. Okay, Well lets talk about products, fish( seafood) you can taste it fresh no stringy cus they clean it properly. Well cook and u can add some tartar sauce or chilly sauce , the best . Price ? Pretty much affordable. Staffs? Friendly young crews over there and the chef as well. Location? Main road, easy access for parking if u wanna take away or dine in. Lots of variations of seafood u can choose, give them buzz n collect ur order. I defo recommend this Hook’d if u wanna get nice fresh fish n chip around Mooloolaba “ Brisbane Road “. Hookd on Seafood Mooloolaba is the most underrated fish and chip shop in the sunny coast the food is awesome and there is such a variety of food to choose from. I recommend the big Angus burger and the Greek lamb burger they are both my favourite burgers on the menu and they both have so much flavour into it. I also recommend the barramundi, snapper, flake and hoki they are the most tastiest fish you’ll ever eat. I love their batter the batter is one of the most tastiest batters I have ever had. No question about the service the service is amazing all the staff are so nice and they out there time and care into the food and it is so quick. The atmosphere is great the lights outside set the mood and it is real nice most the times I have been there there is either the radio on or music.

It was a very nice fish supper and my only complaint is that the chips were warm and not hot . Service was fast and staff friendly but I would like hot chips as it wasn’t busy when I was there so not sure how the chips didn’t come out at the same temperature as the fish . Good food all the same

Absolutely fantastic, put in an order today right on opening time consisting of 5 burgers,grilled fish, potato scallops, dim sims, fish bites, 2 bacon dogs, kiwi dog, large chips and a couple of pineapple fritters, cooked and bagged in about 40 mins. A big thumbs up from the 8 construction workers who devoured the food.

Unfortunately this was a disappointing. Ordered online and everything was cold. The crumb falls off the fish, my prawn wasn’t cooked through and the chips weren’t great and for a fish pack for two very small. The only ok thing was the potato scallop.
