It used to be the most amazing fish and chips destination on the coast and our go to.

Good fish and chips and they don’t cost an arm and a leg given their amazing location and compared to similar places nearby. They also have a nice selection of eclectic grocery items in the store. The food was cooked to order, fresh and tasty. The chips were fresh, crunchy and well seasoned. Food did take a while as it was busy when we got there. Their upstairs sitting area is great to watch the sunset and you can catch glimpses of the nearby ocean.

The food was really good and quick. Price is good as well. We tried the prawns and they weren’t very good, besides that I suggest to come and try the menu.

I was starting to become disillusioned by all the very ordinary fish and chips I’d tried over summer around the Sunshine Coast UNTIL this evening dining at Fisheries on the Spit with my Son and granddaughters. The service was friendly and so helpful but most importantly the fish was hot, fresh and delicious. In fact all that we ordered was delicious. Thanks heaps and I look forward to coming back soon

Came across this place as our guests were wanting some fish and chips for lunch. I ordered a pack that was supposed to consist of 4 pieces of fish and chips. I even asked to be sure. What I got was 4 little fish bites and a lousy amount of chips that cost me $18! My husband ordered two potato scallops and got 2 badly burnt and shrivelled pieces of batter, no potato in sight. Embarrassed that this is where we took our interstate guests for a feed of fish and chips. A rip off, a long wait and no where near satisfied for lunch is all we got. Us locals certainly will never be back.

This is one of the best fish serving places we gave been to in Mooloolaba. The seafood is fresh and prepared well. There is seating just outside with ample parking.

My family are one of twelve family and friends that own apartments on Parkyn Parade. This morning my 80 year old Mother and her friend purchased coffee from a young and quite curt and surly young girl with attitude. They waited at the counter for their coffees not realising that it had to be collected out front. If you’re going to have staff in customer service, train them on the basics. We will now tell our friends to avoid this place like the plague.
