OMG the steak was honestly the best I’ve ever had and that’s saying something. They don’t lie when they say that they do the best steaks. The new renovations look great too. Staff were very friendly and attentive. A really enjoyable night out for my birthday dinner.

This business has suffered a lot over the last 5 years with local flooding and Covid.

For a $45 steak medium well burnt is pathetic I’m not a chef by All means but don’t serve me dog food that taste like charcol. And also when I call to say I’m not happy with my burnt steak by all means don’t tell me you don’t deliver after I had it delivered. Absolute idiots.

My Mumma and I went there tonight and the food was beautiful. The staff were incredibly welcoming and had great customer service skills. Considering they’ve only been open for 2 days (after closing for quite a while because of flooding) the staff were doing a good job.

Unsure of owner history. But my most recent visit the steak was outstanding which for me is the main reason to go to Hogs Breath.

Not as good as some of the other hogs breath I been to. Ordered med rare steak and got a well done. Service was great but def room for improvement. Atmosphere could be made a little more lively with music too.

Used to really enjoy coming for the lunch deals a few years back and thought I’d come back since the renovations. Unfortunately, the lunch menu options has lost its appeal for me, i tried the korean pork wrap and really didnt like the flavour personally. Waitress was friendly. Customer service at point of checkout could have definitely been handled better. We left with a sour taste in our mouth so to speak.

My nan and I were sorely disappointed by the fish and chips lunch special. The fish was literally like mush and wasn’t enjoyable. The salad dressing was nice although the lettuce wasn’t crisp. We were expecting the loaded potatoe skins to be bigger for their price…I ordered a Fruit Tingle cocktail and it didn’t taste very appealing. There was a watery taste as if alot of ice had melted in it and it was missing that sweetness. The female employee that helped us split and pay the bill amongst our group was amazing. She made sure my dad left with a special memory for his bday.

The staff were really lovely, and the refurb look’s pretty good after the flood, but the food is really overpriced and as far as steakhouses go, this would be at the bottom of the list. I bought a reef and beef steak that ended up costing $63 for the medium rare traditional cut that was probably about 250grams of bland (but very tender) meat with three prawns and some dodgy calamari topped with the worst garlic butter sauce I’ve ever tasted. I prefer steaks with a char to it’s surface, infused with that smoky BBQ flavour and Hogs Breath are known for their 18-hour(?) cooking technique, which I’m not a fan of. I only went as it was a family dinner party, but should have ordered a burger and fries.
