My fiance and I had dinner here last night i must say the Customer service is outstanding as for the Food not so much. The sourdough loaf would have been better alittle more toasted, I ordered the Grilled Dory Fillet it was Not grilled but cooked in lots of oil, the seasonal vegetables were yummy the mash was extra dry the fries weren’t too bad second time round.. Bitter disappointed. Food was definitely not fine dinning at all. Chicken liver parfait was dry and crumbly. Entree plates were still on the table when mains came out and had to wait for clean cutlery. Mains we had Slow Roasted Duck Pappadeli that tasted like cheap tin tomatoes with shredded duck thrown on top. The Wild Mushroom Rissoto was boiled rice swimming in water with a handful of small mushroom stirred thru. Bland and without flavour. Definitely give this place a miss

Food was really disappointing, cold despite being grilled and overpriced. Mussels dish smelt off, don’t know whether it was the sauce or the produce itself. Also feels like you’re dining in a hotel breakfast buffet rather than a ‘steakhouse’. Service was not bad but not exceptional either. Paid about $300 for 4 people with only 4 courses and 2 alcoholic beverages – I’ve paid less to dine in CBD restaurants with far better quality food.

I wouldn’t give any stars if i could. Worst service I’ve ever had. Came for my mother in-laws birthday and had to wait nearly half an hour for drinks and a further hour n a half for the mains. Which the sauces were cold and 1 steak that was ordered well done came out medium rare and took almost another 20-30 minutes. It’s not worth the amount they charge for the poor quality. I do not recommend coming here.

So disappointing! We come here quite regularly and order our favourites every time. The menu had slightly changed, no longer great portion sized crumbed lamb cutlets, we received 3 small grilled cutlets at $41. The seared scallops had changed to scallops on a bed of crumbs and the Chicken Parcels at $33 were tiny and very dry! If you’re going to lower your food standards, then lower your prices! We also waited over an hour for this room service.
