Often when you stop at a place like this for dinner, it feels like a compromise between cheap food and going out for dinner. Not here. The food was awesome! Fresh and plentiful salad, a good size serving of fish, and the staff were very friendly too. Would come back to Yarra Glen just to get more of the same for a good meal in the park. Grilled fish with rice flour was great for gluten free too.

I bought whiting and it was the driest piece of fish I’d ever eaten and tasted nothing like whiting. The chips were also so dry I couldn’t swallow them. I also bought a potato cake because I love their home made potato cakes and it was the same standard as the rest of the meal. So disappointed. Hopefully it was just a bad night.

Ate here over 5 years ago and just remembered they had the best steak sangers ever. Like ever. From memory chicken burgers were top notch too so when driving past today randomly at lunch time I couldn’t help myself. I was not disappointed. The chicken supremo burger is the best chicken burger I’ve ever eaten hands down. So much flavour, size was massive, it had everything you could want in more. Now I wanna make a special trip back to try the steak sandwich again. Keep it up!!!!
