Hey Lady is one of those surprises in the northern rivers in Ballina. Great food, awesome cocktails, the staff are friendly without being annoyingly friendly and everything we’ve have had there so far on our 4 visits has been delicious.

The cauliflower dish deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ easily! We also got the slow cooked pork bao which was ok, we missed some flavour in the pork. The staff are so LOVELY, it’s just impossible not to feel “welcome”. The drinks are nice too, with different flavours and we got a nice coconut margarita. What we felt it’s doesn’t have many options for food and what it has is expensive for what is it. Anyways, the customer service, the drinks and the cauliflower make it worth 4 stars . If you are looking for a nice environment and good drinks it’s the place !

Food and cocktails are phenomenal here – Kaarage cauliflower 11/10. Service is excellent and I loved the playlist (90s RnB). The whole experience was completed by ‘The Kramer’.

Decent service with a modern contemporary ambience though the music can be a bit loud. We personally felt the food was a bit pricey for what we got. We had the cauliflower karage, miso egg plant, chicken bao buns and sweet & sour prawns. None of the dishes blew our mind. Okay for an experience but will leave it as that!
