Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. We tried the hot & cold seafood platter for 4 people ($220). The platter was beautiful and came with a good variety of selection. The prawns were a bit overdone and the chips wasn’t as fresh as we liked however everything was still enjoyable. For the price, it is quite expensive as we’ve had other seafood platters for cheaper price and a lot more variety.

The food was fresh and delicious – we had the seafood platter for two, cocktails, wine and dessert to celebrate a birthday and enjoyed everything very much. And to top it off the staff were so friendly and really made our Thursday night feel like a celebration. Thank you for everything we highly recommend this restaurant for a lovely night out.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Ballina. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Ballina. Highly recommend!

What a Gem! We love finding new restaurants in Ballina and were super excited to try Riva out! We were not disappointed. A relaxed atmosphere with live acoustic music and passionfruit mojitos to die for. The menu is simple but has good local tastes. We had the trio of dips which looked a little bland at first glance but those dips had perfect balance and flavour, yum! The seafood platter for two was really generous, with beautiful local Jewish, perfectly cooked calamari and the waiter had no hesitation swapping out a few natural for kilpatrick oysters. The two young ladies running the floor were polite attentive and efficient. Well done guys 🙂 we’ll be back for more!
