It’s located in a shopping centre so it’s a convenient location. Great sushi and I love the fish roe ship and eel nigiri the most. They also have great Korean fried chicken and I think price is okay with $4.5 minimum per dish and variable depends on the dishes. I got them 4 star as there are many mini rolls but quite less options of nigiri, not many types of fish compared to other sushi restaurant that I have been to. But good sushi restaurant in Tuggerah.

I’ve never eaten in at Hero sushi, so unable to comment on in store dining, but every-time we have ordered food for take out it’s been fresh and tasty. We continue to use this place over the others ones available in the shopping centre. Staff at the door have been prompt checking if we needed a menu or how they can help.

I have been here twice now. The vibe here is always great.. The place can be a bit busy but thats because they have great sushi and great staff members. I only just learnt that you can also order hot food, so Soups, dumplings, and other delicious dishes that I can’t think of are available..

I love how it goes around on a belt . You can choose what you want from there, or you can order other goodies that aren’t. There’s a good variety to choose from at reasonable prices. My granddaughter loves the ones with cucumber and I enjoyed the Korean style chicken.

The sushi was beautiful and fresh, the atmosphere was nice and relaxed however, the chef appeared noticeably agitated. He was short with us when we asked a question and appeared annoyed at having to assist customers.

I’ve been a long time customer. Maybe 4+ years. Prices for our usual dinner plates, for an adult and child, have gone from a total of $45 up to $85 over that time. The individual plates are really too expensive for what it is now. I’m sure other people get a surprise when they pay at the end too.

Changing the rating as the food is good but so expensive! My son and I ate there and we aren’t huge eaters. Our total came to $90 for a late lunch snack. Won’t be back as servings small and plate prices very high.

I’d love to give 5 stars as the place is lovely and have great sushi! However I do question the professionalism of the waitstaff. I don’t appreciate inappropriate and childish behaviour while I am dining at a restaurant. Throwing your cloth up and talking loud while working is unprofessional. I assume that maybe is a new staff? But the sushi was great as expected from Hero Sushi !!

I’m not a fan of avocado, and it is in most sushi rolls these days. I know they can make them fresh without it, but when you are in a rush, you want to be able to grab it from the conveyor.
