Foods on point service delightful. First time here and was very pleased. If you want pork and beer then this is the place to be. Yeah may be a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Recommended if you want to treat yourself or loved ones to something more then a bistro or pub food. Will be coming again for sure.

Excellent service, especially for 4 massive entirely different meals, to come out exactly at the same time, all piping hot and positively delicious was absolutely fantastic! The beer options are great too (especially with the little twists you can add to them highly recommended getting the snakebite). On top of that we found it to be AMAZING value for the quality and quantity you receive!

We started to like the Bavarian in Sydney. Great beer and food – most of all the pork belly and pork knuckle. So we were happy to find a branch on our way to Salamander bay, albeit in a shopping mall. Really like to find space outside so that we could take our dog along. He appreciated the pork bones at the end 🙂

First time coming to this place,we were quite excited because it looked like the place was packed. We were able to get a table outside so we decided to order with their barcode ordering system which was easy to do. Did loose a few stars for wait time. My partner did order another drink from the counter so he could hopefully get his drink quicker but was no different. We realized the next day that we never received our deserts. I have been in contact with the email that was on their account but was told that because we ordered with the bar code that we would have to get in contact with the actual place.

horrible food experience!!! came here once and had the wings lunch special they were average at best and undercooked but the service staff were nice so thought id give it another try – big mistake! ordered the lunch special schnitzel today it was the worst schnitzel i have had in my entire life and worst of all raw in the middle!!. but really raw!! i took a friend and hers was also raw. avoid at all costs will not be returning.

Extremely disappointed. Had the Matterhorn 2.0 OTT. The meal was sloppy, tasteless and the lobster was closer to the size of a yabby not to mention it was tough as nails. Forced to pay $55 for a $42 meal? Yeah nah I’m good. I won’t be back as I predicted the meal to be over priced and under delivered but my partner convinced me to try this restaurant anyway. $120 odd later leaving overwhelmingly unsatisfied.

Service was wonderful here. Kids and I both loved our food. The only complaint I would have was being seated outside with one of the heaters not working closest to our table, due to being fully booked they couldn’t be moved anywhere else. A portable heater would have been nice.

Lovely staff, nice ambiance, great drinks, food was overdone, dry, lacking in flavour and very dissapointing. Crackling so hard and dry it stabbed my mouth. We travelled from Maitland to go, and all 3 of us were sorry we went. Again the staff were lovely though

German bier house with only 1 German bier. What happened to the Dunkel and Spaten? Overly pushy staff, grabbed our plates while we were still chewing our last mouthfuls, and seemed they were trying to get us to leave. The food was just over priced pub food. This place was great when it first opened. Not so great now.
