Just got some food from Harry’s and it is probably the worst excuse for fish and chips I have ever had. The fish was over cooked, the chips were done within an inch of their poor spud life. I also purchased a burger for my daughter and it was rare. My son ordered 2 fish cakes which were missing completely from the order. And for the joy of all this we only had to wait 40 mins. Would not recommend!

The food is ok always a bit over done. But the older lady that takes your order is awful so slow! It takes her 10 mins to take your order, for her to rewrite it on another piece of paper that all before shes taken your money! I ordered 2 burgers and chips it took 40mins and another god knows how long for old love to put it in a bag!

So, in the last 12 months at Harry’s, for the first 6months I enjoyed them, their works burger was delicious, whatever they had in the near definitely made it the best burger in town, but over the last few months, it seems everytime I go there, I find myself having a bad experience with the food, the chips are way overcooked, scallops are also overcooked, battered savs are tasteless, it upsets me that Dawson crescent take away is shut on Mondays, because I’ve gone to Harry’s a few times in the last couple of months and every time it ends in bitter disappointment, what ever changed over there, change it back. I will also add that the staff are friendly, I’ve never had a bad experience with anyone there.

Grossly understaffed. Placed order, waited 15 minutes only to be told that I would have to wait another 20 mins for my hamburgers as they had to cook pizzas first. What food I did take got thrown away as it was old and extremely dried out.

Please fix your broken door, the elderly lady taking our order told us off, gave us attitude and rolled her eyes at us as if this was our problem? We were visitors to the area let alone this shop with no knowledge the door slams when you open it. This was beyond our control. Don’t like the slamming door please get a new one to fix the solution mother of all Karen’s!

Waiting forever for our fish chops and pizza. Could smell something burning. Got into car and opened he pizza boxes and they are burnt! $32 for two burnt pizzas. Went back in and returned them.We waited forever again and they looked cooked but when we got home the dough inside was raw so gave up. The very young boy serving had the dirtiest fingernails I’ve ever seen. They’re chips were good though. Try the Chinese at the Bowling Clun instead. Delicious.

The worst steak sandwiches ever ordered by my partner and I. The meat was tough, dry, thin beyond belief and cooked to a brittle and leathery state. The bread tasted old. The salad on one was also lackluster. We should have known we were in for a real treat when the young assistant thought that the notation of “B S” on the paper bag (ie BBQ Sauce) actually meant “Butter & Salt”! Our Chips also tasted odd and were obviously cooked in stale oil. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere … for $28.00 this was a complete and utter rip off that mostly ended up in a local garbage bin where it belonged!
