I’m actually surprised at previous reviews. Have been consistently eating at both the fish & chip and the noodle shop and think they’ve both been not only amazing value but yummy. The service from the owners/employees is the best in the area and their chilli beef and fried won tons are a popular item in our house hold. Definitely worth a visit.

This is the worst tasting food I have ever had from this fish and chip shop. The fish was so old it was dry and grey, the chips taste like dirt from the ground, and the potatoe cakes are so thin that you are just eating batter. Never again will I be ordering from Gylls & Grylls. I also ordered the Udon satay beef noodles and asked if they could not put as much chilli in the dish, the reply was “we can’t do that”, I guess it’s because it’s not made fresh or comes out of a container. Thumbs down big time for this takeaway shop.

Used to be good but since changing hands food is really bad .Not fresh and hamburger meat is pink inside… food poisoning hazard, staff don’t follow basic hygiene… I don’t go there now .

Ok…you’ve changed hands…and look, things aren’t awful, a bit oily. BUT after 5+ years buying weekly, your FISH HAS BEEN LIKE RUBBER for 2 weeks. 1 more try and I’m forced to find a new fish and chip shop. I hope that doesn’t happen but you’ve bought a business and started disappointed previously loyal customers. Hope you fix it
