We had Railway Goat Curry which was tender and delicious with naan bread and steamed rice. The sauce worked very well with the naan bread. Nothing was left on the plate!! We also had Achari Aloo Baingan an eggplant chat potato stir fry, this was delicious and not overly spicy. The decor featured peacock wallpaper. Indian music played softy in the background. Gurus is licensed. The restaurant was popular with South Asian customers. Certainly a restaurant to return to.

Delicious food and great service. I had the butter chicken which was the best I ever had. We’ll presented food. I would prefer less incense if I eat there as it can overpower the restaurant and be hard to breathe clean air but it is a very lovely restaurant setting with cosy furniture and dim lighting which I like.

Oh wow! We had such a delicious dinner. The flavours were amazing. We mainly had vegetarian and took the “chef recommended” options and were absolutely delighted with the food. Can’t wait to go again.

Food was very average. It is already overpriced, then they add public holidays surcharge, credit card surcharge and a dollar for paper bag to carry your food. It feels like they are trying to squeeze as much money as they can.

WORST INDIAN FOOD I EVER HAD!! Paid $60 for 1 person meal and sadly had to throw into the bin. Naan bread was like a chewing rubber, started having toothache after eating half bread. Curry taste like a sour paste of spices. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

So far the best yummiest daal tadka I have ever eaten after I moved to Australia. When you ask for spicy it does justice to that word

We had a three course take away, it was EXCELLENT! Right amount of spice/heat, packed with flavour and served quickly. Looking at some of the vitriolic comments I have to take a totally opposite view. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Once again Gurus Indian food was amazing. This is becoming our regular restaurant when craving Indian food. I have Ceoliac Disease and I never get sick here. The chef,/owner knows his stuff and delivers gluten free entrees and mains. He makes his own gluten free chickpea flour flat bread that is so delicious. Eating here is a must, especially if you have dietary issues .
