First time at the iconic Gino’s. What a treasure of a cafe. Best egg and bacon sandwich ever and coffee was so good. Lovely atmosphere, like stepping back in time. Such a delight. A must do in Fremantle.

I’m in Fremantle for the first time, visiting from Melbourne and wasn’t Gino’s a sight! Where there’s Italians there is fantastic coffee and food!

Neat and cozy Italian cafè! Great coffee but they forgot about my croissant . Prompt and apologetic afterwards and still would come back!

Delicious, and definitely had plenty of seafood in our seafood marinara! Though their blue cheese gnocchi was quite heavy, and rich – and immediately killed our appetite. Would have appreciated some parsley or some herbs to cut through the thickness.

Such a great atmosphere, and a lot of seating for those rainy days. They had such a big range of coffees/ hot drinks we were spoilt for choice. And the food was delicious.

Gino’s was so busy when we first walked past. We came back a little later and got a nice table in the portico area. We ordered and paid at the counter. The drinks came quickly, and the food didn’t take too long at all. Andy had spaghetti carbonara and I had the grilled calamari with spinach, olives, tomatoes and capers. Andy said the spaghetti carbonara was light – not a huge amount of cream – and delicious. My calamari was also delicious. Cooked perfectly. Of course in an Italian restaurant you have to have Tiramisu. Which we did. Yum!The wait staff were efficient and friendly.
