Called in to Toogoom what a beautiful place can’t say the same about Goodys on the beach as the service was slow other tables served & eating before us other people walking out due to no service after 1:30min & still hadn’t seen our food we had had enough so can’t comment on the food as it never arrived so if your after a quick snack don’t bother other than that the beers were cold & the outlook was beautiful

After a few disappointing experiences at Goodies we had been a little off them with poor service and food quality but we give them another go for lunch recently and they definitely delivered great food and the service was much better. All in all a great experience. Hopefully this will continue. If I had to gripe about something the decor could do with some updating with the timber chairs and tables old and rickity and while I understand that it’s outdoors and by the sea a quick blow of the leaves in the dining area wouldn’t hurt before service.

We arrived for Sunday lunch and luckily scored a waterfront seat. Gentle live music added to the relaxed atmosphere. The food was tasty and fresh and we were effeciently served by a smiling young man. Overall, the experience was wonderful.

Beautiful views over the water on a perfect clear day. Great lunch time entertainment too. Our food was delicious and well priced. Good service.

Had lunch there today. Great location and dog friendly. Arrived at about 12.15pm with a reservation. Received water just after being seated and the drinks and sweets menu were on the table. Went up to the counter to collect the meal menu and was chastised by an older staff member for doing so. Waited till 12.45pm and had to ask if we could order. Shortly after a waiter took our orders. At about 1pm the older staff member came out to tell us that there was no calamari left and what other meals would we like. At about 1.20pm 1 meal arrived, 1.30pm the next meal arrived and 10 minutes latter the other 2 arrived. Not good at all as the first 2 had finished when the second 2 meals arrived. We noticed that other tables received similar service to us.

With a little of improvement Goody’s would have upgraded to 5 stars- the food was excellent quality, however a wait of over an hour for our meals was excessive, and the attitude of staff was well before par.

Great little out of the way place busy lunchtime crowd it was cold and windy today with a few spits of rain so that made it a little uncomfortable. Food was good coffee was good little gift shop a nice touch as well.

We won’t be back here again, waited 15 min to get drinks and ask for ice and the ice didn’t come either went up to the bar to ask where the cup of ice is and was told the ice machine was making ice. So I waited and waited and the ice still didn’t arrive.
