Come to here have a lunch in a winter afternoon. Very nice Germany style restaurant. Hot fireplace indoor. But we pick a balcony table to enjoy the afternoon sunlight and coffee. Beautiful service girls with effective service. What we ordered is pork hock, amazing taste, even the potato mash and sauerkraut are very nice . Will come again try other foods. Highly recommended when you visit Hahndorf.

A really charming little inn. I love the fireplaces, wooden furniture and beer mugs. The pretzels and apple strudel were delectable. Do yourself a favour and go here next time you are in Hahndorf!

Such a nice German restaurant in Hahndorf with great food and a cool atmosphere. My wife and I visited this cosy place for the first time for lunch during the weekend, and we had an enjoyable meal. we had “Cheese Kransky” and “Chicken Focaccias” which were both delicious. Our food got prepared fast, although the restaurant was nearly full. The staff was nice with great customer service. If you are in the area, this place would be definitely recommended.

Though we would try the German Inn during our stay in Hahndorf. The Sausage platter lured us in and for good reason. A giant pile of (probably) authentic sausages beautifully prepared with a massive pork chop, pretzel and what felt like a spoon of mash and sauerkraut. Let me be clear, this plate is pure protein. 100% order this dish but get it to share with someone and also order a salad or any other vegetable.
