I’m really surprised by how negative the reviews are on here. My experience has been great every time I have been there. The service was amazing – the lady at the counter is super nice and has a wonderful smile. Food presentation was also on point.

Was without a doubt the worst sushi experience ive ever had. Ive never seen my kids throw away uneaten sushi before. Id love to just say the food had no flavour but we werent that lucky. In a word, Spoiled is the flavour we got and if it wasnt spoiled it was the closest thing too it and i wouldnt have know that was cheese in it if she hadnt told me so. My daughter felt ill after eating it. First and last rime eating there. The pricing was irrelevant since we threw it all away and had to go buy decent food thereby essentially doubling my costs

The BEST Japanese food on the Gold Coast. Cheap and great quality, you’ll get looked after by the friendly staff at Genki Sushi. Have been a regular here for 5 years now, and have moved away from Southport, but my partner and I still make weekly trips to Australia Fair just for the food from this place!

45 mins wait .Asked for no mayo. Thay added mayo asked for it to be removed. By time they messed around out the back everything was cold .Asked for it to be reheated they microwave salad on the plate as well.
