Gavroche has an amazing ambience that is reminiscent of Paris. Their cocktails are good and the flavours of their dishes are tasty. The only minor gripe was that the steak we had was slightly chewy and the chips could’ve been cooked a little longer, but overall it was a great dining experience.

I went to Gavroche with my partner and it was really amazing, It was our first time in a authentic french restaurant and I have to say the food, the service and the ambience was perfect.

Had brunch here on a quiet afternoon, they graciously offered us a table near the window. Our favourite was definitely the seafood ravioli, highly recommend even it is not included in the set menu. Having seen a number reviews for the duck, we had high expectations of it, but was slightly disappointed. Flavour was great but lacked the juiciness and aromatics that we expected.

We had the mussels and the onion soup. Both were amazing! Tried the mussels with the fermented chilli butter and it went down a treat, wouldn’t suggest it if you don’t have a tolerance for chilli though as it does build up on you.
