Had lunch here for the first time today and will never be back! This was what we left behind after paying $42 for the 1/4 chicken chips and a gravy and a grilled chicken burger which was (not grilled came out crumbed instead and very oily) the meal was not worth eating so we didn’t finish it. Firstly the gravy didn’t mention it was a chicken flavour but tasted like chicken stock thickened to the point of jelly goo it was inedible and extremely salty. Chips were so cold like they had sat for a while and the chicken was so dry with a seasoning on the skin that was also very salty and not nice so couldn’t eat it. Don’t waste your money we wish we didn’t. For a meal so simple it couldn’t have been worse. I’ve never not finished a meal before at a restaurant until today.

I thought I would give Freddys the benefit of the doubt and give it another go after not a great experience first round, but now im so disappointed at being disappointed. I had “The Freddy’s” burger today, which was edible, but you would not expect to pay over $15 for a chicken burger with Chicken thinner and smaller than the size of my phone. Chips are still okay, I feel ripped off and regret coming back. Sorry guys do better.

This is by far the best place on the Gold Coast for lunch or dinner! Chicken is outstanding, salads are always fresh and looking amazing, and the burgers, well they are superb . Not only that but the staff are perfect and the vibes are great. Ellie who served me was so genuine!

I went to get a meal for my family on Sunday and i was served by this lovely blonde Ellie. I wasn’t sure what to get at first but she recommended so many options. Her service was incredible and made my experience a 10/10. On top of this, the food was fresh and delicious. I will definitely be returning.

Definitely above average. The burgers were bigger than 99% of chicken shops I’ve seen. Very tasty as well. All the staff there were way more polite and professional than most joints. Nice decor. Love it.

the two handsome young men that served and cooked my food today named Jack, and Paco made my experience impeccable. Asking for a small chips Jack proceeded to give me extra chips on the side as i wasn’t having a good day. Paco in the kitchen continued to have a conversation to make my enjoyment at freddy’s better than ever!

I loved this place, I visited Freddy’s regularly when I lived in Australia. The chips and pasta salads were amazing, and had great portion sizes for the money. However some of the meals like the rolls were very greasy. Although they tasted good they were too greasy to eat a whole roll which put me off. Asides from that, the chips and pasta/salads were great, and some of the best I had in the area.

The food was sensational however, it can be a little bit expensive for a family. The customer service was outstanding with special mention to a young woman named Ellie. She was very polite and would love to have more customer service like hers.
