We have been getting awesome quality charcoal chicken from here for the last 10 years. However, I went here tonight and noticed it has changed ownership!!! We got the usual whole chicken, chips and mushroom salad. I asked for a whole chicken and when I got home I had a bag full of dry chicken pieces!!!! Not a whole bird. The chips tasted like they were fried in old oil and the mushroom salad has changed. It was very salty and the garlic was very strong. My family loved this place, I really hope they get the cooking and recipes back on track. Service was good.

We recently held an event in Gosford and had to cater for 150 people. We had a huge order, which the chicken shop offered to deliver to us on a Saturday night. A team of 4 staff delivered the food, which arrived piping hot at the time that we asked for, and they also stayed around to help unwrap everything to get service ready. The chicken was absolutely delicious, and we loved the potato bake and pumpkin especially! Lots of positive feedback from our many guests and plenty of people wanted to take home the leftovers. The gravy is A1! Thanks so much guys for your incredible efforts, we really look forward to ordering from you again soon.

They need to learn how to clean better. I got 2 b&egg rolls and some chips n gravy and it had beetroot taste in it. There was bit’s of burnt beef patty all through it and the chips was half cooked. I suggest not eating there

Young girls were really wonderful at their service and I found new owners really welcoming to the customer and their new salad is amazing which is organic and healthy.I will definitely come back to this place and bring my friends here for take away.

New owners have changed a proven format, so sad, this had been a family favourite for quite a while, we even travel a reasonable distance just for the chicken, chips and gravy! Now we’re on the hunt for a new charcoal chicken joint. Why do people think they can do things better by cutting corners when they take over an already established food outlet? Happens every time.
