Great little place to have a delicious dinner. We had the Steak and the Squid Salad. A little on the pricier side, but the food is well worth the cost. It is all cooked beautifully and you get a really decent portion size. The service was spectacular! It is all table service and the wait staff a friendly, welcoming and helpful. The space itself gets a little loud when it’s full, but so do most places these days. You also get a lovely view of the water rolling in as the restaurant is right off the beach! Will definitely be going again.

No longer offered is the seafood platter for x 2 but now a subsandard altenative for x 1. I uderstand the resturant has changed hands and as usual, the quality of food presented has changed. We run our own touring business – Ambler Touring. One of our favourite lunch stops for our #FleurieuPeninsula tours is this delightful, versatile Cafe that offers takeaway, ‘ on the deck’ or restaurant style eating, with a perfect range of seafood option’s of consistently high quality. Always a winner with our guests (and us)

Had a lovely lunch at the Flying Fish Cafe in the middle of winter, but you wouldn’t have picked it as it was a glorious sunny day. We had lovely King George Whiting with chips and salad, i had mine crumbed and the chap had his battered, both were delicious. Great friendly service, fresh local high quality seafood. Will definitely be back when we’re in the ‘hood
