Excellent food, friendly and helpful service. The duck breast was divine, the beer-battered fish very tender and the lamb was delicious. The seared tuna was great too (although it was very amusing that the wasabi was served adjacent to the mashed avo and the diner mixed them up accidentally). There were plenty of vego and gluten-free options. The area is crowded of an evening due to adjacent eating places and close parking is limited. We prebooked as it is very popular during the holidays.

It is a good casual restaurant, probably the best in the area, has a select menu, the food is very well presented and tastes good.

Original visit – 4 September. Finally I’ve discovered this superb restaurant. A spacious dining area, relaxing decor including fire, and friendly staff set the scene for a 5 star dining experience. The ciabatta and olives are a must have to start. My sesame crusted seared yellowfin tuna, with avocado, pickled ginger and wasabi was generous in size, cooked to perfection and stunningly delicious. My wife and I will be heading back again and again, we’ve got the whole menu to get through!

It’s a lovely restaurant in Port Elliot. I actually think it’s underrated. The service is really impeccable and the menu was delicious. It’s suitable for a variety of occasions, date night, family, special occasion, you name it!

We ordered two plates of the lamb and one kangaroo. The young waitress said there might have only two lamb dishes left, checked and came back to advise lamb was out. We changed our order to three kangaroos, then 5 minutes later she came back to say they had managed to find two lambs so back to our original order. We were wondering where the lamb had come from. The food was good but let down by an hour wait, the kangaroo dish was missing the finger lime on the orange salad, which we received when we mentioned it. Lack of communication and the long wait was a let down for the delicious food.

A tad pricey but food was special. My kingfish crudo was perfect, the seared sesame encrusted Tuna steaks were perfect. As were the accompaniment of condiments on the plate. Oh and we shared some chops that were very nice!!!

Attended the New Year’s Eve event and was absolutely incredible. fantastic menu the tuna was absolutely to die for and the chef even made me a completely different starter to cater for my allergies. Can not rave about the incredible staff and service enough especially given the restaurant was extremely busy and the people on the table next to us were incredibly rude making several people uncomfortable and had several staff in tears not to mention commenting very loudly about my friends cleavage to the people on his table. we have Attended this Restaurant many times and have always been very impressed by the quality of service management and quality of food is second to none
