The score is totally unreliable and the definition of medium is just depend on the chef’s mood. The best “staff” in this restaurant definitely is microwave. I will never try it again. Amazing attitude and endless excuses.

Unexpectedly superb restaurant. Oysters we’re fresh and reasonable size. The eye fillet and barramundi were both perfect. Even the wine was good. Staff were good. This little restaurant is part of a motel chain and it was a great surprise to find such amazing food in such a location. 5 stars.

Fantastic evening with family. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, the service was exceptional and the menu options / food was 1st class. We had a variety of good throughout the table from fresh oysters to steak ,where as I really enjoyed the seafood pasta. Food was reasonably priced with a really good variety of local products. Everyone enjoyed the amazing dessert which made the night awesome and well spent with the family.Will definitely come back for the amazing food. Thank you to the friendly staff as well..

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal on Saturday 20th May. Absolutely brilliant food. Generous servings with the food appearance and setting second to none. The face to face service was exceptional and we were made to feel like special guests. The only complaint was that we were too full to have dessert.

I probably give it 3.5 but my partner absolutely LOVED the food. I thought the food was ok, some weird combinations. However wait staff were lovely. It is very homely cooked meals with a little extra. Had a great time.

The unassuming exterior masks the culinary delights that can be enjoyed within! We had pretty much all the choices from the main section, they were all excellent – only slight miss was the chicken/prawn combo which maybe had a bit much going on but still tasty. Pork, beef and duck were delicious. Great service and really friendly staff!

Great Food. Did not expect to find such quality and service tucked away in Ballina. Stayed at the motel for few days. Tried both the a la carte menu and travellers menu. Travellers menu is great for those days when you not in the mood for anything fancy and lighter on the wallet as well. Will definitely be back!
