Really great little place to eat and have a few drinks. Sunday sesh here with some music and lunch was a really good vibe. Lovely outlook to the Beach. If you have a large group I would book a table on the weekends but we came again during the week and it was fine actually really quiet compared to the Sunday. Food was really good huge serves different variety to usual pub fare. Fish tacos are delish! Highly recommend stopping here if your coming past.

Major renovations July 2023 have enhanced this popular eating, drinking, coffee stop. No matter what time of day there is something for everyone. I love the morning snack of banana bread and coffee, but will return for the afternoon pizza special on Thursdays. Plenty of parking across the road next to the surf beach. NB. Pizza was one of the best of ever had.

I had a fab lunch here today on my way up to Port Douglas. A lovely, friendly young lady from England took my order and I took a seat looking out over the road and Ellis beach (which is probably the most beautiful beach I have ever seen). My fish burger was great but the steak cut fries were on another level. Great service, great view and great food.

Just had breakfast here. Ordered poached eggs and sausage also poached eggs and hash browns. The sausage was kabana. There is a difference guys. The hash browns were overcooked pushed them to the side and thought. Oh well the poached eggs looked wonderful. So decided to do nothing about the quality of the hash browns and sausage. Was not going to let this ruin my day. Then just happened to turn over my toast and it was full of mould. Looked on my partners plate and it was blue/grey where his toast had been. Showed the plate to the waiter in charge and he and the cook passed it off as the balsamic glaze (which is black/brown) on the plate. Was not shown any respect with the dismissive attitude that there was anything wrong. Will be making a complaint to health department in council.
