Just absolutely beautiful, from the staff/atmosphere/food/cocktails. This restaurant is the whole experience. Roses are Red is probably the BEST cocktail I have ever had the flavour was amazing and also the Pink City was so delicious. We had several different dishes all were amazing could not fault the stand out was the Note your average Chicken Tikka and the butter chicken. Desert Gulab jamun was delicious too.

This is not your average Indian food. ELCHI provides a very fresh take on Indian cuisine, with a subtle reminder of flavors from back home. The ambiance is chic, bar is fantastic and the service spot on. My personal favorite was the duck lukhumi, Sea prawns, crispy whole Amritsari Fish. We will definitely be back!

It was our first day in Melbourne and we were finding it hard to choose an Indian restaurant to dine in. We came across Elchi and decided to give it a try. Without any doubt, the best Indian restaurant so far in Australia.

I had an exceptional experience at ELCHI today. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the wonderful ambiance and great music. The food was an absolute delight, with the Gunpowder Gobbi and Chicken Tikka being standout choices for an appetizing and flavorful entree. The drinks, particularly the Pink City cocktail, were superb and perfectly complemented the meal. A special mention goes to Juan, the skilled bartender, whose service added an extra layer of excellence to the evening. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant for an unforgettable dining experience.

Enjoyed the Diwali experience. Partner is from Punjab so we love our Indian foods. Cosy modern place with lots of mirrors so the place feels a bit bigger. $95 pp for 4 generous portions (dessert included). Definitely one of the good “Indian fusion” restaurants in Melbourne. Furniture is a little worn and could use an upgrade – maybe it’s the beige colour?). Golden theme with retro vibes. Overall a very good experience.
