I got an opportunity to have lunch at Drysdale Restaurant during my Tasmania visit and I don’t hesitate to call it as one of the best lunch I had. I have no words to describe the taste of food on words. The restaurant has an amazing vibe. I was amazed to see the restaurant environment.

To be honest, I cannot ask for more with this price! The decoration is good, and they offer you the real candles to be burnt within the restaurant~ The dishes are good enough from some ungraduated students. Of course, not 100% perfect but come on! The main dish is only $18 and you can have lamb for it The waitresses and waiters are not that experienced, but still they are under training. Nobody is perfect from the beginning and praise for those students 🙂

Great snacks, reasonable prices for both drinks and nibbles.

Future Gordon Ramsay and Marco Pierre White in the making here. Good food. Especially the lamb.

This is the training restaurant in the south and so has to be rated in context. Prices are very reasonable and the service, food and drink quality is very good, if sometimes a bit variable. Well worth supporting

A group of 24 ladies went to Drysdale Restaurant for lunch. Seating was well arranged, crisp white tablecloths covered the tables, no wrinkles. Small flasks contained dried Australian flora, lovely. Our drinks were served in spotless gleaming glasses. The meals were attractive, well cooked and not too large. All dietary wishes were considered, gluten free, dairy free on the menu. Student staff were delightful, unobtrusive and no mishaps. We had a wonderful time, thank you.

It’s a learning facility so expect varying service experiences. The food is always excellent and it’s always astounding value.

Lovely space, part of the TAFE where students get to show off their hard learned skills. We went to a fancy dinner where the Chef’s menu featured ‘bush-foods’ that were super tasty and presented beautifully. If you get the chance, give it a go!

Cookery students working in here, most of menus are cheap and Chef helps their students which means the quality also good.
