Absolutely thrilled with my first-time hot pot experience at Dragon Hotpot! From the moment we stepped in, the excitement was palpable. Being able to handpick fresh produce and choose the broth for cooking was a delight. They even had a vegan option, which was fantastic for our group. The meal was nothing short of delicious. The bill came to around $38, which I’d say is quite reasonable for the quality. Waiting in line was inevitable, but the 10-minute wait felt quite manageable. The key here is to choose wisely and not let the excitement get the best of you. Overall, a top-notch experience that I’m eager to repeat!

First time trying Hot pot and what an experience. You are able to select fresh produce and select the broth you want it to be cooked in. There is a vegan option which was awesome! Absolutely delicious meal and great for sharing. We shared a pot between two people. This came to about $41 so it’s not the cheapest but is decent ish. You do have to wait in line but the line wasn’t too long. We waited about 10 minutes.

My partner ordered the vegan one, and I ordered the collagen broth. When our food arrived, they got it all mixed up. Instead of letting us grab new food items, they just tipped off the broth and switch it to the correct one. I had a great time at this place last week. My housemate and I wanted to have some hotpot and this place came to mind. As it was the first time for him, I wanted him to have a good experience. The place was busy as usual, but the wait wasn’t long. We took some protein and veggies and weighed them for the hotpot. For the soup base, I chose Sichuan Hot and Sour (level 2 spicy, 600g, $23.65), while my friend chose the Signature Ma La Tang (900g, $42). My dish was quite well made, but some cauliflower could’ve used a bit more cooking. The soup was delicious and the meat was well done. My friend wasn’t completely satisfied with the meat and as he had taken too much, he couldn’t finish all of it.

We bought takeaway on a late night and I remember we put 2 big scallops with shell. I’m sure 100% because we’re 2 people, one shell per person. But we only received one Where’s the other shell I imagine it fell down from quick cooking as the shop is closing soon…???
