I have been here many times as we live just down the road. But lately, the fried rice is often burnt, the Combination Satay is a dish full of onions, the Chow Mein has very little meat. It may be a new chef…. But we are now changing to another restaurant near us that delivers. Prices went up, quality went down.

Having been disappointed with other local Chinese take away as of late we decided to try Maidens Brush. Heard good things from friends, and must say, this was undoubtedly the best local Chinese food we have had. Ordered Mongolian Lamb, honey King prawns, satay chicken and special fried rice. Felt totally satisfied, full but not bloated at all. Forget all the app restaurants on offer, they are nowhere near the quality of these guys. Highly recommended, and we have now found our new go-to Chinese take away.

I always buy the same. Prices have gone up steadily in the last year. I buy the combination omelot and special fried rice. $28. They used to give you a choice of a free can of drink or prawn crisps when you spent over $25, now you don’t. The dishes I order are always good.
