Great setting. The food is awesome and beautifully presented. Slightly on the costly side. I find some of the staff friendly and warm, and some dismissive. I’ve had a few incidents over the years with staff that stick with me and make this a 4 rather than 5 place. Pity, because otherwise it’s one of my favourite places.

Chose venue due to view. 9am on a Thursday. Asked to sit inside as it was a little cool. There was 1 other table of 2 inside (and noone outside). We were a party of 2. We asked to sit by a window and were directed to sit in a dark corner with a very small window. We moved to a larger table (4 seats) by the large window, and were quite rudely told we MUST move to a 2 person table. Given only one other table of 2 came and sat inside while we were there it really left a bitter taste. To be fair, the waiter sounded like he’d lose his job if we stayed at that table. Must be a nice environment to work in.

First time there the other day. Great place. Nice playground with fence, cafe made hot chips. Not a fan of their iced coffees or iced chocolates. Pretty average. Water area was perfect for the kids. Grass areas great for picnics and cricket.

My husband and I bought our 2 kids down to the cafe & park and had a wonderful experience. The waitresses were great with our 2 little ones. We ordered fritters and linguine along with 2 kids meals which were fab. It was great spot for such a beautiful day. Highly recommend this cafe, we will definitely be returning.
