The team brings a unique culinary experience for the customers either they have been to South America or not. Doña Bertha, the head chef, is a Colombian Chef with over 40 years of experience in kitchens. All her plates are inspiring and very unique touch. Here you can find traditional foods from all over South America including Peru, Colombia, Argentina and Brazil. Amazing feeds with pretty decent portions! Our first visit (with the old menu) was fantastic. This time was a big disappointment. Vegetarian menu can be improved a lot. We ordered patacones and enchiladas and they were topped and filled with the same mixed veggies you buy frozen at coles. In this way you lose all the original flavours of Mexico and Colombia. Especially enchiladas were a big disappointment, cheese everywhere and filling with a flavourless mix of steamed frozen veggies. It’s a shame because it’s really easy to make it better. Eating vegetarian is not just throwing some mixed veggies here and there. Another suggestion: you can just use fake meat (vegan alternatives) to make your vegetarian/vegan options way more appealing. A cute authentic South American restaurant. Staff are lovely and helpful with the menu. It’s like eating homemade food which we loved. I ordered the traditional Colombian dish which was different for me but very nice as I’m open to trying new things. See picture below. We also had beef empanadas for starters that were nice, beef nachos, chicken enchiladas and kids burrito. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Very generous serving and we won’t so hungry so didn’t finish the meals. If you have a big appetite this is the place to go. Lovely restaurant.
