Very cute Main Street cafe which was fine for a quick breakfast toastie stop on the way to Launceston . The pastry/pie displays are extensive and very tempting. I had a toastie which was fine but possibly not the best latte. My friend was served a tea bag in a cup with a teapot of boiling water and a lid that fell off. Go figure. I took an apple pie and cherry pie home but the pastry was a little soft for me. Cheery Staff!

I had a cooked breakfast and it was okay, Everything in the cabinet looked fantastic but unfortunately it was better than it looked – the Danish especially had a sickly thick artificial filling that I threw out after a bite. Very well priced and generous serving sizes though, I do wish I tried a potato pie they looked amazing

The lovely cafe, old style bake house with incredible choice of deserts, savoury treats, toastie’s milkshakes, thick shakes croissants you name it it’s all on offer here at the town cafe. People serving were nice. Lovely family feel and relaxed sitting environment. The food was delicious and certainly worth a stop.

I have been here many times in the past and have bought takeaway pastries and coffee and it was always good. But this time my partner and I sat down for breakfast and it was awful coffee and hot chocolate were only luke warm and the food wasn’t cooked properly. The eggs were raw and the bacon and toast were hard and dry and tested like they had been reheated.

Best service and AMAZING pies (especially the lamb and rosemary). The vanilla-cream slice was a great recommendation too! Specialty gingerbread coffee was the cherry on top of the awesome lunch.
