Legitimately one of the tastiest meals I’ve ever experienced, and my wife agrees. Fantastic quality, massive portions, and brilliant pricing. One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had and in a fantastic environment. Staff are very friendly as well and the wait time was very short.

Amazing venue. The service was excellent. From the phone call to enquire if we can sneak in late arriving in town later at night to settling the bill the service was friendly and professional, but still created an intimate and homely feel. Everyone had a delicious dinner. The steak was to die for. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the beef cheeks the best I tasted in years. The restaurant has a good selection of drinks. The portion sizes were generous. Thank you for an exquisite evening.

My wife and I went here due to a recommendation. Very glad we did. Atmosphere was very relaxed. The staff were professional. And very nice. The food was amazing. Best salt and pepper squid I have had. And the plum pork was the best my wife has had. Make sure you visit!

Went to Default for a quiet Sunday meal without kids. The setting was lovely and intimate, the staff knew when to come over & when to leave us alone. The meals were devine, we had the entree platter, pork, gnocchi and the dessert platter. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend this out of the way little place. We wil be going back 🙂

Excellent meals to be had here. Staff are ultra friendly with kids. Meals are very well priced and presented beautifully. There is a nice patch of grass just outside where the kids can run around if they get a bit bored. Menu changes regularly.
