If you’re in Port or surrounds and you like a decent old fashioned burger and awesome value for money then you’d be stupid not to head out to Cougar Cats at Cathie. Eat in or takeaway but I reckon eating in feels so much more relaxing. Can’t beat the value for money or the flavour from each meal. The coffee and cakes are a delicious bonus. Friendly staff who make you feel at home.

The actual food in fine but the service is a little slow. Also its disappointing that the seafood basket is apparently pre packed so there’s no changing it if you prefer crumbed fish over battered and then its almost doubled the price if you try to make up the pack from the board with crumbed fish yet they sell everything separate anyway.

Worst food ive ever had, given three chances now . Fish is either overcooked and dry or severely undercooked and raw inside, chips so overcooked theres nothing in them . I worked 8 years as a short order cook who ever is cooking wouldnt last 5 minutes in a busy cafe. Dont take well to complaints either need to learn how to work in a service industry.

Dont bother ringing after 6.15pm to place an order for anything on the grill, they turn them off at 6.30pm, they will let the phone ring out and if you ring straight back they’ll pick up and place the receiver on the counter. I continued to ring for another 5 minutes when they finally answered i was told that the grills have just been turned off, poor way of running a business im afraid.

Overpriced, over cooked and underwhelming. Very small serves for the price and seems to be out to just rip off tourists. $17 worth of chips would not feed 4 adults and 4 kids! Chips were almost inedible and tasted like the oil had not been changed. Don’t waste your money!!!!!
