We’re run by locals for locals and supplied by locals. We source premium beans from the Byron Bay Coffee Company and all coffees are prepared by experienced baristas, making consistently high quality coffee. We source local milk from Norco, local fresh produce from The Provedores, EWH, Kenny Little’s & other small businesses in the area. All food is freshly prepared onsite every day by our fully qualified team of chefs. We provide a friendly and warm atmosphere for our team as well as our local customers.

I absolutely love this cafe – it’s my new go-to! The atmosphere is always so positive and fun, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The coffee is hands down the best on the coast, and they have the biggest and best cookies I’ve ever eaten – literally, they are huge. I can’t recommend this place enough, whether you’re looking for a quick pick-me-up or a place to sit and relax, this cafe has it all (plus heaps of parking!). Keep up the great work Caramels, and I’ll definitely be back soon for my double shot almond latte!

A small cafe with spectacular food and service. I had the grilled fish and salad. Located in a residential area, not far from the coast…was surprised by the quality of the ingredients used and the care that went in to cooking it….would most definitely go there again, can’t recommend it enough.

Ever since the new owners have taken over caramels has really changed and not for the better either. Prices have increased dramatically on coffees and meals, they are charging extra if you use eftpos and charging extra on weekends. It’s not a friendly environment any more either. I feel like the new owners have really let taking over a business get to their heads. It seems like it’s all just about them and their wallets and it’s not a friendly, vibrant, happy and well priced environment that it used to be. After being a loyal customer for many years I won’t be returning any more.

We had brunch, and there was lots of yummy, healthy food to choose from. Good choice of drinks and blended juices as well. It was busy – a sign of good food, but we found a seat, and the service was good. Recommended.
