The food was very nice, i wouldn’t necessarily say authentic but still tasty non the less. The service and atmosphere was definitely the star of the show though. And the peach iced tea cocktail jug was very nice.

Chu The Phat is an amazing restaurant, the chefs are very professional and the waiters and waitresses are very friendly. The food is very Asian-like, it is mostly like Taiwanese food. This restaurant is very near the “city part” of Brisbane. You can go there by walking, bus, train, car, Taxi, and more! I would definitely come back to this restaurant next time I visit Brisbane. Chu the Phat – great name for an excellent dining experience. It is big but broken into a range of different zones on different levels which make it more intimate while the sight lines keep the drama. The menu was inventive and everything we had was excellent. One to go back to.

We had the $70 banquet. Swapped out the oysters for the scallops. Most of the dishes were fantastic. The Black Angus Flank was as hard and tough as a rock. It was the only dish I really didn’t enjoy. Otherwise, great place to eat and drink.

Great experience. We came here for the $60pp Super Sunday session and the staff were amazing. They were friendly, professional and offered us another drink before we had finished our current one so the flow of drinks was constant which is exactly what you want when doing a package such as this. Food was great as all dishes had great flavour profiles with good portion sizes. Ambience was good as the lighting was quite dim where we sat inside which gave this entire experience a nice feel. Highly recommend.

Food was pretty good, we tried the banquet option. Maybe next time I would order my own meal. Unfortunately we were tucked in the back corner of the restaurant so the atmosphere wasn’t great. Not sure why they would even put a table in that location. Otherwise worth a visit.

We enjoyed an evening meal at Chu the Phat recently. We had the banquet, which was very good. The only thing I would like is that there were more options for vegetarians in the banquets (although other members of the group managed to polish off the meat dishes!). The wait staff were friendly and attentive, and food was delivered at a good pace. The atmosphere and setting are great. We had a table upstairs which wasn’t too noisy.
