There’s a common perception that Mexican food is both spicy and heavy but, in fact, at Chipotle Rye our food has a depth of flavor – with its combination of savory and earthy flavors – and a fresh lightness from its generous use of fresh herbs, vegetables, and citrus. Our food is packed with flavor; among the herbs and spices that give it its distinct kick are a variety of chilies (fresh, dried, smoked, and pickled), alongside oregano, coriander (known as cilantro in North America), Garlic, onions, lemons, and limes are also used generously.

This doesn’t look or taste like authentic Mexican at all. Asked for vegetarian dishes they have given beans rice and wraps separate and we had to assemble it and than eat. Also, very blank taste. Nonetheless, they gave extremely burning plates directly taken out from oven and than they say be careful! They should first of all not give plates out of ovens directly instead move it to fresh different plates, safety isn’t been taken care of at all. Paid $90 and not a penny’s worth. Mexican cuisine is usually so amazing everywhere in Melbourne but, here in Mornington this restaurant is an absolute disgrace to Mexican cuisine.

We just discovered Chipotle, it’s a fabulous dining place. Order at front, love the large margaritas on hot days, and the food is fresh and tasty. Highly recommend it.

Went there with my partner and two young kids. Staff were really nice even though the kids were acting up a little. Food was really great which showed with one kid eating all his food without having to be asked. Very reasonably priced too. Only criticism would be that I ordered a coke zero and it came in a glass and think it was post mix. Really do like my cokes in a can with a glass. Would go back.

We have been coming to Chipotle regularly since they have opened. The quality and quantity is beyond what you will find at other restaurants. And their service tops it off even more, the team there are genuinely happy and go out of their way to ensure you are having a good experience and ensuring the quality they provide is at a high level.

We got takeaway. Took 20 mins, but amazing burritos and bowls! Large portions and the extra guacamole and sour cream were very generous! Nachos were really cheesy too. Highly recommend.
