Spent a lazy afternoon at Central Park tavern today. I will definitely be going back. From the minute we walked in leanne the behind the bar made us feel welcome, the place was spotless clean the staff friendly. I met one of the chefs (Daniel) he was more than happy that I was there and excited that I was doing a review, did not dissapoint ,I had the pork cuttlets with chips and salad with a pot of gravy, the pork melted in my mouth, it was hot, just the right size and definitely worth the money$25 , we went out to the smokers area after our meal, finally a place that caters for smokers, plenty of seating and very clean. Laura was taking pictures of a new addition to the menu, beef and red wine pie with peas and mash, she also informed us of Sunday roast coming onto the menu at$12:90 so I’m going back on Sunday. I’ve included some pictures this time that’s how impressed I was. 5 stars beautiful staff 5 stars cleanliness 5 stars.

We ate here 2 days. Food was good, chips salad and barramundi. Next day calamari. Reasonable prices. The setting was nice looking over the river.

Waited over half an hour for food after the rest of our party who ordered at the same time had finished their food, overcooked and dry chicken for the Hawaiian parmi with a slice of pineapple smacked right in the middle, raw veggies in the vegetarian bolognaise, when I went to ask for a refund because the food was taking too long and we just wanted to go home because the rest of our friends had already eaten and she said there was nothing they could do because the food was about to be served. Pokies was good at least and the drinks were cold.
