I ate at the Aldgate pump hotel 3 weeks ago the food was alright but the dim sims were uneatable, the burger was good tho. The service was good the playground is unsafe for toddlers as the rope on the bridge was broken. Apart from that the fireplace was nice.

Had not visited this hotel for a year or so. We had lunch here on father’s day. I ordered the rump steak. It was one of the best steaks l have ever eaten. It was cooked rare as l ordered it. I can not rate it high enough. It was a busy day at the hotel with two seating times, but the staff handled it very well. Will definitely be visiting here again…… and ordering a delicious steak.

Bit of a hidden gem.. incredible atmosphere. Cute, old style hotel with round windows and a fireplace in the middle of the dining room, blazing on a cold winter night. Intimate space with booths. Food was delicious with plenty of options and I was really impressed with the presentation and taste!
