This is a tad late of a review but the family and I went to California Tacos in broadbeach earlier this year during the Easter long weekend and we ordered a massive family surf n turf dish and it was spicy just the way we love it and I have to say the serve was soo big that we had left overs for breakfast the next morning.

Dropped in with friends for dinner, QR code to order on the tables can be a challenge, and food came out quickly by very friendly staff, ordered of the menu, sadly some items not available, No chicken or plain chips? did get offered sweet potato chips as an alternative, the buritos are filled with chilli, and have some water or coke to cool the palette. Happy hour margaritas and $7.50 cans of beer a bonus. not a bad place to eat if you like the spicy Mexican food.

I went here for the first time the other night, we got the tacos and nachos to share. Not only was the food amazing but the customer service was excellent. I was very impressed by the gluten free options that were available and even suited for a celiac. I would highly recommend this to families or just for a casual drink.

Really good tacos! The Halloumi and Catch of the day tacos were the best. Little atmosphere as it was quiet for lunch time but could imagine it would be great at night. Great staff and friendly service. A bit pricey for what it is but overall it was good. I would come back for those tacos!

Andrew is a lovely man and the food was authentic and delicious. Highly recommend the Broadbeach store if you are nearby as there is not a lot of Mexican in the Gold Coast and this is healthy and delightful. I can’t fault anything!

Went here for the first time tonight and loved it. There drinks were great and there food was lovely. We had two tacos and salsa each and it was perfect. They were great sized, good toppings and sauces and good for the price. The customer services was also great we were greeted by the owner and sat and the table staff were on point. Highly recommend going here for a nice vibe and great food.

I was surprised to experience the very blend taste. It’s quite an ordinary and nothing hit you with the taste. Taco Bell is much better compared to this. Sorry but this is how it is. But the Sangria drink was sensational. Now I know why the tables were empty. I thought visiting from CA, I decided to support but the taste let me down.

I will definitely be recommending this place, I was really impressed with the staff they were so sweet and helpful plus they sell the Best tacos I’ve ever tried. The pulled steak and halloumi are delicious. I also recommend the mocktails.
